Fall 2 Deadpoint Quick Facts

What Is Fall 2 Deadpoint About?

Fall 2 continues the world of the 2022 thriller Fall, which followed climbers trapped high on a remote tower. This new chapter is a fresh story rather than a direct retelling. After the death of her sister Shiloh, a young woman named Jax joins a woman calling herself Luce on an illegal climb up Mount Kwan in Thailand. The goal is to reach a dragon statue that is said to “eat your fears”.

A rockslide leaves the pair stranded on a broken plank walk high above the ground. As the hours pass, secrets come out. Luce turns out to be someone else, using the name Billie, and their guide is revealed to be a drug smuggler. The film is built around fear of heights, grief, trust and survival, with most of the tension happening in a very small space.

We are deliberately not describing the ending. The film works best when you go in knowing only the setup.

Fall 2 Cast and Crew

Who Stars in the Film

• Harriet Slater plays Jax Hunter, the younger sister of Shiloh.
• Arsema Thomas plays Luce, whose real name is Billie, a friend of Shiloh who is actually a fan.
• Tom Brittney plays Jon Platt, the guide.
• Virginia Gardner plays Shiloh Hunter, the late sister.
• Grace Caroline Currey, who starred in the first film, and Adam Rose have cameo appearances.

Who Made It

The film is directed by Peter and Michael Spierig, the brothers behind several well known genre films. The screenplay is credited to Scott Mann and Jonathan Frank. Scott Mann directed the original Fall. The film is released by Lionsgate Studios and runs for 97 minutes, which keeps the pace tight.

Release History and Status in October 2026

The film was first scheduled for 7 August 2026, then moved to 2 September 2026 in the United States. Its UK title is simply Fall 2, and the British Board of Film Classification rated it 12A in August 2026. It opened to roughly 2.3 million US dollars in the United States and Canada, and had earned about 8.7 million US dollars worldwide by 10 September 2026.

As of 9 October 2026, the film has passed its first month in cinemas. Movie Insider lists a digital and video on demand release for 6 October 2026, although the same site also refers to 15 September, so its information is not fully consistent. Streaming and rental platforms such as Prime Video and Apple TV list the title, but availability and pricing depend heavily on your country. We could not confirm a Pakistan specific streaming date, so check the platform’s Pakistan store before you pay.

Is Fall 2 Showing in Pakistani Cinemas?

This is the question most readers are asking, and we want to be honest about it. A previous version of this page listed specific showtimes at Cinestar Township in Lahore. We were not able to verify those times from an official source, so we have removed them. Cinema schedules in Pakistan change from week to week, and a film that has been out for more than a month may already have limited screenings or none at all.

What we can say is that Hollywood releases normally reach major multiplex chains in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, but the date and the number of screens differ for each title. For Fall 2 we have no verified list of Pakistani cinemas, so please treat any showtime you see on social media as unconfirmed until you see it on the cinema’s own booking page.

How to Check Fall 2 Showtimes Near You

If you want to watch it on the big screen, this is the quickest way to find out.

1. Open the official website or app of your nearest cinema, such as Cinestar, Centaurus Cineplex, Nueplex or Cinepax, and look under “Now Showing”.
2. Search for “Fall 2” and also “Fall 2 Deadpoint”, since cinemas may list either title.
3. Select your city and date to see the exact times for that day.
4. If the film is not listed, call the cinema’s helpline. Ask whether it is scheduled for this week or whether there is a late show.
5. Book online if the option is available. Seats for weekend evening shows fill up faster than weekday afternoons.
6. Look at the age rating before taking children. The UK rating is 12A, and the film contains intense peril.

Our movies category collects cinema guides for Pakistani cities, so you can see what else is playing. Should You Watch Fall 2 on the Big Screen?

This is the kind of film that benefits from a cinema. Height and vertigo are the central fear, and a large screen with good sound makes the exposed ledges and long drops far more effective. If you suffer from a fear of heights, be prepared. The film is tense from the start.

If you cannot find a screening near you, the digital release gives you another route, though the experience at home on a phone or small laptop will be less immersive. Wait until you can watch in a dark room with the volume up.

Do You Need to Watch the First Fall Movie?

No. Based on the premise, the story is built around new characters and a new location in Thailand, so you can follow it without seeing the 2022 film. That said, the first film is a good companion piece. It sets the tone of high altitude survival, and a cameo in the sequel rewards viewers who remember it. If you have time, watch the original first for extra enjoyment.

Tips for Moviegoers in Pakistan

• Check the cinema’s own booking page on the day, since schedules for older releases can be cut with little notice.
• Choose weekday shows if you want cheaper and quieter seats, though ticket prices vary by cinema and we do not list any here.
• Do not rely on forwarded WhatsApp posters for showtimes. Always confirm on the cinema’s website or app.
• Arrive a few minutes early. Advertisements and trailers play before the film, but the doors can close right at the start time.
• If you miss the cinema window, keep an eye out for the digital release on your preferred platform.
